The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it is inadequately earthed, and the clamping means were not enough to stop loosening. As a result, the product could become live at mains voltage, meaning if the consumer touches the metal shell of the product they could receive an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
