The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the earth terminal had not been marked correctly or clamped adequately to be secured against accidental loosening. The product could become unearthed and,
under fault conditions, the accessible metal parts of the product could become live.
The instructions were considered inadequate as they did not contain information to ensure that the equipment could be correctly and safety installed, used and maintained.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
