Black 3-wheeled e-scooter with grey patch on handle bars and foot plate. Foot plate states ‘immotor’ in red.
The product presents a risk of electric shock as the plug did not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard, meaning a user can access live pins when plugging in, and unplugging, the plug from the socket. The product also presents a risk of fire as it was inadequately earthed, with a counterfeit fuse that could not provide the required protection under fault conditions. The product requires improvement to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
