Details
The product is a panel light made for use in aquariums, supplied with a power plug and a controller built into the cable.
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the plug does not comply with BS1363 and is possibly counterfeit. The plug pins are difficult to fit into a socket due to its irregularities. If the product is forced in repeatedly, the socket connectors will wear down, and the socket will become unsafe to use. If the product is used when the socket is damaged, it may electrocute the consumer.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
