The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the earthing arrangements are insufficient, which can allow accessible metal parts of the product to become live. If the consumer were to touch the light to clean or replace the bulb, they would receive an electric shock. The product also required improvement to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
