Details
A white and turquoise mug press machine for printing designs onto hot drinks mugs.
The product presents a low risk of electric shock as the earthing arrangement is considered inadequate. The terminal had not been locked against accidental loosening. Over time, the wires could become loose and touch accessible metal parts of the product. If a user touches these parts when the product is in use, they would receive an electric shock. The rated voltage and voltage range was also incompatible with UK requirements, and the product required improvements to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
