Details
The product presents as serious risk of electric shock as it failed the electrical strength test as breakdown occurred before full test voltage was applied. The plug face did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS1363 because the distance between the outside edge and the input measured too small at 7.3mm which is below the 9.5mm standard, further presenting an electric shock hazard. The product also presents a risk of fire/explosion as the fuse did not contain a ballast and had friction fit end caps.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
