The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the plug pins on the device were not compatible with socket outlets conforming to BS1363, with the dimension of the plug module from the earth pin to the neutral pin smaller than the minimum requirement, which can lead to arcing and damage to the plug. The user can experience an electric shock when plugging in, or unplugging, the plug from the socket.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
