The product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to the failure of the sample to meet the RCD test requirements of Clause 9.7, meaning that after reasonable wear and tear, the cable may become damaged and the user may experience an electric shock should the RCD fail to protect. There is also a risk of overheating due to the PWM output exceeding the maximum current of a 13A plug and the failure of the plug to meet the requirements of the relevant standard.
The product does not meet the requirements of The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
