Details
Black and white USB power adapters with writing on plug surface, 3-pins and narrow distance between pins and edge of plug.
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the mains plug module did not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard, BS 1363, meaning the user could access live parts when plugging in, or unplugging, the plug from the socket. The product also possessed insufficient insulation required for Class II equipment and there was insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input circuits and low voltage output circuits for Class II equipment.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
