Silver Vevor-branded bath-shaped cleaning appliance for use in laboratory setting, supplied with instructions manual, black power supply lead and white travel adaptor.
The product has been identified as presenting a high risk of electric shock as the plug possesses an inadequate fuse with no granular filler. If the product develops a fault over time, the fuse will not blow and the product will become live. If the user touches the plug, they will receive an electric shock. The product also requires improvements to documentation and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets Regulations 1994.
