Black 4 slot battery charger with supply cord and 3 pin mains plug.
The product presents serious risk of electric shock and a risk of fire as when tested the construction of the product was found to be unsafe. Creepage and clearance distances are insufficient and the product failed a 3kV dielectric strength test.
The products plug also does not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard (BS1363), the plug’s earth pin is sleeved, and no fuse is fitted (BS1362). The plug’s live and neutral pins had inadequate mechanical strength, failing the 1.00NM torque test. The product is not supplied with an approved supply cord. Additionally, the product is not compliant with the marking requirements of the relevant standard and no instructions are provided.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
