Details
A mains blue coloured welding machine with Vevor branding.
The product poses a high risk of burns because it presents a hazard of fire /explosion and electric shock due to poor construction/design. The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994 because the BS1363 fuse had been modified with a piece of wire soldered onto the outside of its casing, which bypassed the fuse’s function and provided no over-current protection. The PCB tracks had also been bolstered using solder, to increase the current carrying capacity. The product does not comply with all the marking requirements of the relevant standard.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
