Details
The product poses a serious risk of injuries as it went over the maximum speed requirement due to the speed not being limited. Consumer may crash on scooter as they may be unable to stop due to high speed and suffer injuries. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery Regulations 2008.
The product also poses a risk of electric shock as it was supplied with a non-compliant BS1363 plug and a non-compliant BS1362 fuse. The transformer was also of a poor build quality because it did not meet the requirements for creepage and clearance. The product does not meet the requirements of Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
