To help identify the product that has been recalled, there is a label on the handle of the product that will include the following code: 15B.10.12.109.
No other Asda hair styling products are affected.
What to do next
Not all batches are affected. However, if you have purchased the Asda Hot Air Styler since September 2012, please take it back to your local Asda for a full refund. No receipt necessary.
Electrical Safety First recommends that anyone who discovers they have an electrical item that has been recalled should stop using it until it has been checked by the manufacturer.
