If you have bought one of these models, please stop using it immediately and call John Lewis Customer Services on 0845 604 8835 or email jlkettle@remove-this.gmail.com to request a replacement base. Alternatively you can return the kettle to any John Lewis or Waitrose Food & Home store, where a full refund will be given.
