Risk
The product poses a risk of fire because it does not have any provision for overcurrent protection and the adaptor has inadequately sized pins. As a result the socket can overheat and the mechanical connections between the base and the cover of the adaptor can suffer undue strain when inserting into, or removing from, a socket. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and with the relevant European standard EN 60598.
