Risk
The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - the basic insulation of the supply cord conductors is accessible even when the control box is fitted, - the creepage distance on the printed circuit board (PCB) between live and neutral before the fuse measured 1.5 mm (required 2.0mm), - there is no insulation between the PCB and the "keyhole" slot for wall-mounting the control box.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
The Electrical Safety Council recommends that anyone who discovers they have an electrical item that has been recalled should stop using it until it has been checked by the manufacturer.
