Risk
The product poses a risk of electric shock because the cable fitted to the machine is PVC coated and not rubber coated. There is a possibility of breakdown of the PVC coating over a prolonged period of time due to UV. This can lead to cracks in the outer sheath allowing water ingress. The cable's individual wire insulation would also need to be broken for a short circuit to occur.
The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive.
