Models affected
The affected lamps feature the following animals: Giraffe, Elephant, Horse, Zebra, Frog and Turtle and have been on sale since October 2007.
They were manufactured in Thailand and the model codes are: CL1, CL2, CL3, CL4, CL5 and CL6. There were 505 of these items placed on the market in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

A product recall on a range of Coconut Animal Lamps has been initiated for safety reasons by the importer, Nirvana.
What to do next
If you have one of the affected lamps stop use immediately and switch off the mains supply to the plug socket before removing the lamp.
Please return the lamp to the place of purchase, where you will receive a full refund.
Electrical Safety First recommends that anyone who discovers they have an electrical item that has been recalled should stop using it until it has been checked by the manufacturer.
