Leading charity Electrical Safety First is excited to announce that entries are now open for the Safety Innovation Award 2024. This annual award celebrates innovative projects and products that protect consumers from electrical hazards.
Recognising and rewarding great ideas to help protect consumers against electrical dangers, the annual Safety Innovation Award is free – and easy – to enter. Your project or product does not need to be complete, it can be in the creation or prototype stage.
The Award is a great opportunity to showcase your innovative project or product to retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and the wider public.
Previous winners include:
• HobSensus: A safety device that turns kitchen hobs off when left unattended.
• SmartLINK Gateway: A system that keeps homeowners and landlords up to date with the status of their alarm systems.
• E-Bulb: The world’s smallest fire extinguisher.
The deadline for entries is Friday 30 August 2024. The winner will be announced at Electrical Safety First’s annual Electrical Product Safety Conference on Thursday 21 November, where they will have a platform to discuss their innovation with a wide audience.
