A 100A supply is common across the UK, with many also having 63A or 80A supplies – all of which are generally okay for a house.
Whilst adding up all of the loads in a house would appear to make sense when calculating the maximum load it is almost certainly never going to be the case that everything is switched on at once. Electrical designers take this into account and apply what is termed diversity – essentially accepting that load will be spread.
Your electrical inspector will take account of this when they complete the EICR.
